About this event

The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted a number of inadequacies in national policies and exacerbated vulnerabilities in our international health networks. We invite you to join us for a two-day workshop that will bring together a multi-disciplinary team of scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and other experts to collaborate on the design of an equitable regional health governance approach for the Americas.

This workshop is focused on identifying common interests among multi-disciplinary and multi-sectoral researchers in designing a regional health governance approach. The workshop seeks to:

  • establish appropriate themes and research clusters;
  • pinpoint suitable methodological approaches; and
  • identify missing perspectives and explore ways to include diverse voices.

This workshop may be of particular interest to academics, healthcare practitioners, public health policymakers and administrators, international and community-based NGO workers, students in medicine, nursing, law, global health, public administration, and more!

Register today and join us as we begin working together towards enhancing preparedness for potential future pandemics.
